PLATINUM ENERGY LEADERSHIP
The Platinum Energy leadership team brings more than 70 years of operational and management experience in the gasoline, convenience store and car wash businesses. This experience encompasses ownership and operation of a wholesale fuel distributorship, full-serve and self-serve carwashes, gas stations and convenience stores.
David Delrahim, President, is an entrepreneur and 28-year veteran of the retail petroleum, convenience store, and car wash industries in southern California. David is a visionary whose experience has ranged from operating to developing sites from the ground up, as well as creating new concepts such as the Car Oasis facilities.
Well-regarded in the industry, David has received national recognition for store design. Also, as a philanthropist and humanitarian, David has been recognized for his support of community and educational organizations.
Brian Whalen, General Manager, comes to Platinum Energy from ConocoPhillips with over 30 years of experience in the industry. Brian’s background in branded convenience store operations, marketing, brand management, and wholesale fuel distribution gives him a comprehensive perspective of what it takes to be successful in this business.
A West Coast native, Brian understands the unique competitive and regulatory challenges facing operators today in the markets where we operate and is committed to helping our operators succeed.
Ann Marie Michael, Controller, brings more than 20 years in data management and software development experience to Platinum Energy. As an expert in business optimization, Ann Marie worked with the oil industry, including Texaco and Valero, in designing customized software solutions. Formerly, as co-founder of Integrated Data Systems – using the latest in information technology, Ann Marie designed enterprise-wide financial systems used in more than 15 countries.
